Mystery box Product Returns, Refunds, and Replacements

As we (FLP Fashion) primarily sell mystery box products, it is understood by the customer that the items they will be receiving are completely randomized - though will be in the condition and quality as described on each product page. There is a risk that when purchasing a mystery box, you may not like the items you receive, or they may not fit you as you would hope. We totally understand this, as we have worked in the fashion community for two years and going, so we have a few solutions.

Don’t like the items or didn’t fit you?

We can offer a full refund minus a restocking fee upon the return of the products you received. FLP cannot provide any shipping service for returns. Once you receive the product, our responsibility is completed unless the product is defective. If you wish to return your box(es), feel free to contact support@flpfashion.com with your request and we will act accordingly from there. When we receive the return and inspect the product for any alterations and assure all product is present, we will issue you a refund minus a 10% restocking fee that all return refunds are subject to. This refund does not include the shipping expense charged, as we used that money to send the product. That money is not available for a refund.

Why does FLP Take a restocking fee?

Not only does the restocking fee account for the time we took to select the items for your package, pack them, make a packing receipt, buy and print a label, tape up the package, and take it in to be shipped out, it also accounts for any additional money FLP used to ship your item. It is more than common that we spend a few extra dollars out of pocket to ship a package, additional to the shipping fee the customer paid. We do this because we do not agree with modern companies charging absurd shipping expenses. The issue arises when the customer wants to return the product, as we would not only be losing time, we would also be losing money in this situation. We want to be extremely transparent with all of our customers, so this policy is apparent before and after the purchase of our product. Returns in this business model are extremely difficult to manage, but we find it unfair if we didn't provide some options for a return or refund.

You received your item, and you believe it to be defective..

Though we inspect all our clothing extensively for quality assurance, everyone makes mistakes. If you believe you have received a defective item, contact us. We are committed to working with you on resolution. Working in the second hand and vintage industry, aging is expected, and sometimes distress is a purposeful fashion intention. Please do not attempt to alter the condition of the product with the intention of making the item defective, as we have files on hand to compare it to. This issue is extremely occasional at FLP as we send out quality assured items in the conditions stated consistently. Contact us with any issues, we always strive to find a satisfactory solution.

Maintaining a positive reputation in the fashion community and keeping all of our customers happy is more important to us than making money. As a customer I hope you understand why we cant offer full refunds for everything, as we would get taken advantage of. Every box we have sent out has been up to or more than the value relative to what the customer paid in our opinion, but every business will have their happy and unhappy customers. Not all situations are subjective to these policies, so we are open to working to finding a solution viable for both parties! Reach out with any issues or concerns.
